thanks for joining us. i'm carolyn tyler. let's get started going to lisa argen because we had a little unsettled weather, a chance of rain. >> good morning, everyone. it is raining in the north bay and it has been as a cold front slides to the south and east. live doppler 7 hd shows the return, some of them anyway. some are just the radar beam is hitting above the rays. that's why we're not picking up everything. wet into novato over to walnut creek. the roadways are slick. we're looking at a couple cells here ready to move into san francisco. once these areas of rain move on through, we still have a lot of clouds but we also have a nice looking seven-day outlook. the details a bit later. >> thank you, lisa. some san jose police officers and city council members will gather at the scene of a crime today. protesting changes in the city's police department. they'll be at the shopping center on story road where a 12-year-old boy was shot and a 13-year-old stabbed while trick or treating last year. it was a mistaken gang attack.

thanks for joining us. i'm carolyn tyler. many san bruno residents will return to their homes today for the first time since thursday's tragic fire and may smell the odor of natural gas as pg&e crews work to restore service. some residents will be able to resume living in their homes. others will be able to go in and gather their belongings. people with red tag tones will have no access to their houses. officials plan to hold a briefing at 8:00 this morning, just in a couple hours. they'll explain those details and more. the san mateo county coroner has revised the death toll back to four and that is down from the seven reported last night. san bruno police hope forensic tests on skeletal remains found yesterday will determine if they belong to fire victims. authorities have also revealed that six residents are missing. search teams and cadaver dogs will resume looking today for any additional victims. now, of the six people reported missing, three are members of the bulllist family. amy holyfield talked to relatives who are

thanks for joining us. i'm carolyn tyler. a firefighter remains in a san francisco hospital this morning after being severely burned while balloting wildfire near bodega bay. they believe the volunteer firefighter touched a power line. the fire begin near highway 1 and bodega highway. so far it's burned nearly hundred acres but crews have it 80% contained. chp is escorting drivers through a section of highway 1 near the scene. amy hollyfield tells us more. >> more than 300 firefighters from 14 different agencies pounced on this fire, but it had a lot of fuel to keep it going. it wasn't until six and a half hours until after it got started that firefighters got most of it contained. >> it was amazing. i mean, it was so fast, from the time it happened probably within a minute. it was uncontrollable. >> tracy crane was at home watching television when the power went out. she was headed toward the breaker box when she saw the fire. she barely got out in time. >> everything i left sitting on the counter. >> the fire burned a rural
